Rebecca Pan (潘迪華）or Pan Wan Ching, is undoubtedly one of the orient's most accomplished artist. "Oriental Pearls" is a collection of Far Eastern favorites with a couple of Continental songs thrown into demonstrate her versatility and flair for languages such as Cho Cho San (Japanese), Puleu Bali (Malay), Planting Rice(Tagalog), Ding Dong Song (Chinese), J'Attendrai (French), Magica Luna(Spanish) and English.

A Shanghai-born artist, started her career primarily as a vocalist with experienced in show business, since then Rebecca sung her way around South-East Asia, visiting Australia, Singapore, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) and India.
