Iwan Fals - Opini - Vinyl Record

Opini is the follow-up album from "Bachelor" released by Musica Studios. With a series of straightforward, bold and poignant lyrics, Iwan Fals began to be known to the public. Musica Studios seems to be the label that has the guts to release an album full of sensitive themes for the authorities.

Iwan's other songs on this album such as "Isi Rimba Tak Ada Tempat Berpijak lagi", "Opiniku", "Tak Biru Lagitku Lautku" and "Tarjimah dan Problemnya" are indeed very close to social issues including environmental issues. But also singing a ballad with a pop nuance like "Antara Kau,Aku dan Bekas Pacarmu". Some people suspect that this song is actually an allusion to the political events of the difference in vision between the regimes of the Old Order and the New Order. I don't know.

What is clear is that a bunch of Iwan's works on the album "Opini" and "Bachelor" will later become a blueprint for the narrative style of Iwan Fals' songs.
